Peggy Tsai is an internationally recognised AI and data product leader with more than twenty years of experience across financial services. As a Council Member of The AI Values Institute, she contributes expertise in enterprise AI governance, data strategy and executive leadership, helping advance the Institute's work on responsible and sustainable AI value.
Her career includes leadership roles at organisations including JPMorgan Chase, Morgan Stanley, AIG and S&P Global Ratings, where she has specialised in data governance, stewardship, AI risk, data security and regulatory accountability. Peggy is particularly recognised for translating complex AI and data governance challenges into practical strategies for executive leadership teams and boards.
Alongside her industry work, Peggy teaches AI ethics, governance and strategic AI applications through programmes at Carnegie Mellon University and the University of Denver. She is also co-author of The AI Book, a member of the Data and AI Security Coalition, and serves on the New York State Bar Association's Task Force on Artificial Intelligence. Her practical governance experience strengthens the Institute's work on bridging AI innovation with executive accountability.
