
Ming Tang is Founder of AcuMing and a Founding Council Member of The AI Values Institute. A recognised leader in data, artificial intelligence and technology, she contributes expertise in organisational capability, data-driven decision-making and value-led AI adoption, helping inform the Institute's work on sustainable AI value across both the public and private sectors.
Ming has extensive experience helping organisations embed data and AI into everyday decision-making to improve performance, build organisational capability and deliver meaningful business and public value. She previously led data and analytics initiatives across the NHS and has worked across healthcare, pharmaceuticals, consumer goods, retail and industrial sectors.
Alongside her advisory work, Ming is an Honorary Practice Fellow at Imperial Business School and an Executive-in-Residence at the UCL Global Business School for Health. Recognised internationally for her contribution to the data profession, she was ranked first in the DataIQ 100 in 2021 and inducted into the DataIQ Hall of Fame in 2024. Her experience brings valuable insight into how organisations can move beyond AI experimentation towards practical, trusted and value-driven adoption.
