
Dr Constantinos K. Coursaris is Professor of Information Technologies at HEC Montréal, Co-Director of Tech3Lab, and Director of the English-track Master of Science programme in User Experience. As a Founding Council Member of The AI Values Institute, he contributes expertise in human-centred technology, user experience and digital behaviour, helping shape the Institute's work on the human dimensions of sustainable AI value.
His research spans human-computer interaction, usability, user experience, mobile technologies, social media and marketing communications. Before joining HEC Montréal, he spent fourteen years at Michigan State University in several academic leadership roles and has led research and consulting projects across Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
Dr Coursaris has published more than 95 peer-reviewed journal articles and conference papers and has contributed to externally funded research projects valued at more than $4 million. His work helps strengthen the Institute's understanding of how people interact with AI systems and how human-centred design supports trust, adoption and long-term organisational value.
